Solaris Reserve helps homeowners make informed decisions about backup power and residential preparedness. Our work should make readers more capable even when no product is purchased and no affiliate link is clicked.
We teach the decision before recommending a product, state meaningful assumptions and limitations, and consider household fit before commission.
Evidence and Sources
We give particular weight to government safety information, product manuals and warranty terms, relevant standards and testing organizations, qualified professionals, and credible independent testing. We also use transparent calculations and clearly label estimates. Manufacturer marketing and customer reports are evaluated for specificity and corroboration.
We distinguish a manufacturer’s stated specification, a manual requirement, a calculation, an independent observation, and our own conclusion. AI output is not a factual source.
Product Evaluation
- Start with the household’s essential loads, runtime, portability, and installation needs
- Check output, usable capacity, charging, battery life, warranty, support, and safety documentation
- Explain assumptions and meaningful tradeoffs without false precision
- Tie any “best” designation to a stated use case or evaluation framework
- Verify time-sensitive prices, specifications, and availability before publication
Testing and Research-Based Comparisons
Research-based comparisons rely on cited documentation and analysis. They do not imply firsthand testing. If we conduct a hands-on evaluation, we identify the model, how it was obtained, the conditions and method, measurements, limitations, and material relationships when practical.
A demonstration is not a laboratory test, and a short evaluation does not establish long-term reliability. Free or loaned products and sponsored content receive clear disclosures; compensation does not buy a conclusion.
AI-Assisted Production
Solaris Reserve may use artificial intelligence for research organization, outlining, editing, transcription, visuals, narration, and workflow management. Material claims remain subject to source verification. We do not fabricate customer testimonials, expert endorsements, interviews, product tests, or demonstrations. A virtual spokesperson represents the brand, not a real customer or independent expert.
Corrections
We review major guides when products, warranties, safety information, recalls, or cited sources change. We correct material factual errors promptly when practical; significant changes may carry an editor’s note explaining what changed and when.
